Meghan Markle Reportedly Plans Solo Brand Push As Harry Becomes A Growing Business Concern

Meghan Markle is once again facing intense discussion over reports that she may be preparing to distance her business image from Prince Harry.

According to recent commentary, Meghan allegedly believes she has more earning power when she operates alone, without Harry standing beside her at public events or brand-related appearances.

The claim has sparked debate because this is not the first time the Sussexes have been linked to a so-called professional separation. Similar reports surfaced in previous years, especially when Harry began appearing at solo engagements while Meghan attempted to develop her own lifestyle and media projects.

The key difference now is the financial angle.

Commentators are questioning where Meghan’s increased earning power would actually come from. Her podcast work has not created a long-term media empire. Her lifestyle brand continues to face criticism over unclear messaging and weak product presentation. Her public appearances have also generated headlines, but not always the kind of attention that builds trust with consumers.

This is where the reported strategy becomes risky.

Meghan’s brand still relies heavily on royal association, even when she appears to be moving away from Harry. Without Harry, she loses the most direct link to the royal family. But with Harry, the conversation often shifts back to royal drama, family conflict, and unresolved tension with the monarchy.

That creates a difficult business problem.

If Meghan appears alone, critics ask what she is selling beyond celebrity attention. If Harry appears beside her, critics say the focus immediately returns to the royal feud.

The latest reports suggest Meghan may now see Harry less as a brand asset and more as a limitation. That is a striking shift from the early post-royal years, when the Sussex brand depended almost entirely on their shared identity as a couple who left the monarchy.

However, the public reaction has been skeptical. Many observers argue that Meghan’s biggest challenge is not Harry, but her own inconsistent brand strategy.

Her business ventures have often launched with major publicity but struggled to sustain momentum. From Spotify to Netflix to her lifestyle brand, the pattern critics point to is the same: strong announcement, heavy press coverage, unclear execution, and then a quiet pivot.

The concern is that another solo push may repeat the same cycle.

For Meghan to succeed independently, she would need a clear product, a loyal customer base, and a public identity that does not depend on royal conflict. At the moment, that remains difficult because her name recognition is still tied to Harry, the monarchy, and the controversies surrounding both.

Prince Harry, meanwhile, appears to be increasingly caught between two worlds. His royal identity remains commercially useful, but his relationship with the institution is deeply damaged. That makes him valuable and problematic at the same time.

If Meghan truly believes she can earn more without him, it may signal a new phase in the Sussex story.

But unless the strategy is supported by strong business execution, a solo Meghan brand could face the same problem as before: attention without lasting trust.
